Some time ago I went to American Apparel in Nashville and I saw that they had come out with a line of nail polishes. American Apparel really knows their colors and if I had enough money I probably would have bought at least 10 of them. Only being $6 they are not that pricey compared to some other nail polishes out there, but being me I wanted to find a not only a less expensive alternative, but a more accessible one as well. I succeeded in finding a match of one shade called "Office" with a Revlon Shade called "Minted."

With the Revlon nail polish only being $3 and being available at any drugstore you can think of, it was definitely the alternative I was looking for. It easily goes on with two coats and dries pretty quickly. As for the other awesome American Apparel shades, 6 bucks ain't that bad.

Being in a beginners tap class and loving movies, my mother took it upon herself to record a movie for me about a beginners tap class. The movie Stepping Out, was made in 1991 and Stars Liza Minnelli as the tap dance teacher who tries to teach her diverse, amateur dance class a dance number for a charity dance show. It was directed by Lewis Gilbert and the cast includes Robyn Stevan, Jane Krakowski, Bill Irwin, Ellen Greene, Sheila Mcarthy, Andrea Martin, Julie Walters, and Carol Woods. Most of which I did not recognize at all. The movie was rather slow and boring, but the dance numbers were enjoyable enough to watch. The 30's style tap dance numbers are definitely one of my favorite styles of tap. I never really ever cared for Liza Minnelli's singing, but she is quite the dancer. Here is a video of the final dance scene of the movie. Enjoy!

I also learned that Liza Minnelli is actually Judy Garland's daughter! Guess talent just runs in the family.
