I just turned 19 yesterday. 19 is not a very exciting birthday age. The only significance of the age is that it is the last year that you are a teenager and thats pretty scary because I still feel like I'm 12 years old sometimes. I find that birthdays get less and less exciting as you get older. and busier. I did get some sweet presents though.

My sister got me this awesome mixed media necklace and my parents bought me 3 items from Urban Outfitters that my other sister had picked out. One of those Items included some awesome boots.

I'v been needing some boots of my own but could never really find any that I liked. I'v seen a lot of grey suede boots or black ugg-type boots everywhere but I was never really into them. These on the other hand are just right for me. Urban Outfitters is for sure one of my favorite stores even if they are over priced and are often identified as being a "Hipster" store. 

I finally watched Inception today. It gave my brain a pretty good workout. I know that there has been plenty of dream and alternate reality movies (The Matrix) but this one did have some unique elements to it. The dream sequences were really cool too and as for the end, well I think that because the top didn't stop spinning it meant that he was still in a dream and I think that he and that old asian dude never get out of limbo so him seeing his kids at the end was just part of that dream. Although did they ever show in any of the scenes the top actually falling over? I don't know. Maybe the whole point of the movie is for you to not understand. Oh and the whole concept with Leo's character and his wife reminded me a lot of shutter island. 

I also watched (the other day) I'm still here. If you havn't heard of this movie, it is about Joaquin Pheonix when he went all crazy saying that he wanted to quit acting and be a rapper. He grew his beard and hair out and looked like he hadn't showered in months. Then he went on David Letterman and was really weird and rude. Well he was supposedly acting the whole time and doing it for this fake documentary, kind of like Borat. The movie spanned I think something like six months and just documented all the stupid stuff he did. It was produced and directed by Casey Affleck who is Jaoquin's brother-in-law or at least thats what he said in the movie. Anyway, it was a really bad movie, really boring, really gross, really stupid, and a waste of my time. Don't watch it.
